I said I would post something up today, and although theres less than an hour of today, here it is. I just got the grudge 2 (the remake) on dvd the other day and there are some parts which make me feel so bad for Kayaoko, Toshio and of course kitty-san who did nothing in life but meow, did that really justify Takeo drowning him? I realise that Kayoako had been unfaithful in life she did not deserve such a babaric end, who can blame her for the anger that lived on? And poor Toshio, just a six year old boy, left to starve, after witnessing his cat be drowned, his mother brutally murdered and his father hang himself afterwards. Therefore in this picture, though it still seems to have a creepy air about it, I'm taking a different approach, not the "it never forgives, it never forgets" line, but a family doomed to forever reminise on how they met their tragic end, to forever be feared, to never find peace.
